I'm not the woman who shutters to think that I'm turning 40 or worries much about my hair changing color. I'm not too keen on the thought of losing muscle over the years, but I'm headed into the right direction with keeping my body able and fit. Actually, I'm enthusiastic with the thought that I am no longer '30 something'. Being 40, atleast I can remember my age ;) Those 'in-between' years always seem to make me 'do the math' in order of remembering my age.
This new age of 40 creates a 'woo-hoo' for me. Just like the quote, above, says...that's the way I live with each birthday {even in those middle 30-somethings that I couldn't remember}.
So, with this new year of my life, I can say that I'm excited and ready to see what God has in store...because I know that He's always got something forming ♥

Can't believe you are 4-0! Many happy returns and may special things happen all year round for you. And I agree with you about the in-between years. And my maths has never been very good and being born in a year ending with 9 I get really confused when I try to work it out.
